EQUINE SPORT MASSAGE & BODYWORK
Bodywork is a path,
a happy free moving horse is the destination for more wellness and performance!
Bodywork is an intelligent and profound communication through touch.
The aim of the Equine Massage & Bodywork is horse feeling more confortable in his body, with freer movements and with an emotional self which is more aligned with his physical self.
I use different technique including Sport, Myofascial , Trigger point and light touch techniques.
On stubborn areas I might use the Gha Sha technique (Chinese massage).
I do some gentle stretches, and generally speaking I try to work on the key areas of tension keeping the horse fully relaxed.
I like to work on some meridians and I use aromatherapy product during the massage to enhance the treatment and sometimes clay to soothe the areas of tension.
Bodywork is a gentle massage helping to dissolve restrictions, and to return the horse’s body to its natural state of aliveness and unrestricted natural movement, enhancing relaxation, suppleness, balance and coordination.
The goal of the massage is to soften the muscles, in other word we want to take out any kind of spasms, to eliminate toxines, while bringing nutriments and hydration to the muscles in return.
This will allow the muscles to slip comfortably over one an other again.
If muscles can be hydrated , this will allow return of freedom in consequence;
When the physical structures are aligned, the entire fabric of Being works together , allowing the mental and emotional to align with the physical self.
Bodywork is a Gentle, Holistic treatment.
The mental, emotional and physical elements of the horse are interconnected, interactive and totally inseparable.
In Bodywork we consider the body as being intelligent and we want it to communicate and participate in the healing process.
